On your old server, make a full account backup of each account: one .tar.gz, .tgz, .tar or .tar.zst file. Nothing changes there.

Can I try HF Panel before I pay?
Yes. Install it on your server and type T at the licence question. You get every feature for 30 days, with no card needed. One trial per server and per email address.
How do I move my hosting accounts to HF Panel?
Make a full account backup of each account on your old server and bring it in with Import accounts in Server Admin: upload it, give a download link, or put it in /home/hostfog-import. The import accepts .tar.gz, .tgz, .tar and .tar.zst files. Nothing changes on the old server.
Can I install it on a server that already hosts websites?
No. HF Panel installs on a freshly installed server. Set up the new server first, then move your accounts in with Import accounts.
What does a licence cover?
One server. The licence is tied to the server’s IP address; you can move it to a new IP from Your licences.
What happens to my data if I change plan or remove a module?
Nothing is deleted. The module’s screens are hidden until you add it again, and websites, email and DNS keep running.
Can I connect my own billing system or scripts?
Yes. The token API at api.yourdomain.com/v1 creates, suspends and changes accounts, and there are ready-made modules for WHMCS and Blesta. See the API documentation.
